British-Mexican fusion? Regardless, I loved this. The kale (Red Russian) and parsnips (and a bit of carrot, too) were delicious with the rich mole sauce and a bit of feta cheese. 

On the side: more kale and parsnips mixed with pinto beans, plus salsa and jalapenos.

Toast and a smoothie

Fuel for a 7.5 mile walk in the Cotswolds. This kept me going all morning long. (Those smoothies are VERY filling - and even more so with a heavily PB'd slice of toast on the side!)

Whey protein powder, a banana, spoonful of cocoa powder, lotsa ice, and enough water to blend. My Vitamix turns this into something akin to a Wendy's chocolate milkshake. Is that such a bad thing?
